Start by making a list of what you like to do, what you are skilled at doing.
Do you live in the city or rural area?
When you start to limit the start up money, you are really limiting the success of the business. It takes money, even with MLM and Internet to advertise, train yourself, acquire tools, materials, equipment, website, marketing materials etc.
Many people make a good start by selling items they either make or buy on eBay. But that is Internet…
If you have some skills such as handyman, electrical, plumbing, wood working etc you can start by doing work in the evenings. Alot of folks don't want to take time off to wait around for the 'professionals' and will be willing to hire for evening work. If you like to write you can always find work writing articles. If you like to shop, you can earn money as a mystery shopper. I did this for about a year. You get to shop for food and items, keep the items and get paid too.
