Primerica is a pyramid scheme, more interested in recruiting people than in selling insurance. They are part of Citibank, where the financial arm of Citibank sells term and whole life, as well as does their Smith Barney branch. But Primerica does not. Thus, you are limited.
They will do nothing to help you get leads, as they don't care about such things. Remember, bringing in a constant parade of possible unsuspecting people is more important.

No, it is not a scam. I have heard people say that Primerica is only interested in recruiting people and nothing else. That can't be true. They are in business to make a profit and there is no profit in just recruiting people. They have to successfully sell products and services to survive. It's a large company and has been around for a long time, so they must be doing something right.

That being said, I was not impressed with them when they contacted me about a position. I attended one of their recruitment meetings. Based on the other people who were there, I felt that their standards for new employees are not very high. I've forgotten more about personal finance than the other people had ever learned. I decided that I didn't want my professional reputation to depend on a company that recruited such poorly qualified people and turned them down.

Primerica is a legitimate company, they use multi level marketing , like any business opportunity some people will suceed and some people will fail …… that does not equal a scam ……. but i would say it isn't for everyone ….
